Ban(v.): the act of permanently eliminating and blocking a person from returning to an internet space.

Banning is the most severe form of punishing a person on ForumPlanet. A banned forumite can never return, nor create a new account/avatar. The ability to ban someone is only granted to administrators or moderators.

Death in Forum City

This means death is only the second worst thing you can do to a person in Forum City. When a user's avatar dies, that user's account is terminated, but the user can still create a new account. This is not a simple resurrection, however - the user can't just recreate the same avatar, meaning the creation of a new account is more like reincarnation than resurrection.

The only way for a user to be permanently removed from ForumPlanet is by an administrator or moderator banning that user.

Killing and banning in The Nameless Mod

If Trestkon goes on a violent escapade, any user that is "killed" in the game loses their account, but isn't banned.

Using the Admin Staff (or FireStaff), does not ban a person; though the item does have admin powers, banning is not one of them.

Trestkon has the opportunity to get only two users banned during the game.
