The combat knife can be used to take down enemies from close range. Unlike the Riot Prod, it's a lethal close combat weapon. It can be useful early in the game, but should probably quickly be swapped out for more powerful melee weaponry.

Obtaining it
The earliest opportunity to find a combat knife would be in Phasmatis' apartment, under a cushion on his bed.
Description
An ultra-high carbon stainless steel knife.
Usage
Sneak up on enemies and hit them in the head from behind for the best effect. Generally not advised for use during firefights.
Trivia
The Nameless Mod uses a modified knife from the DX original, although the changes made to it are purely aethestical; hitting an organic NPC with the knife will soak the weapon with blood. Lots of it.
