Along with Phasmatis and King Kashue, Deus Diablo is part of the moderator triumvirate of PlanetDeusEx. He alledgedly spends most of his time patrolling the streets, breaking up fights and banning criminals. He is abducted prior to the start of the game, causing Phasmatis to call upon Trestkon to solve the disappearance.

Role on ForumPlanet
Deus Diablo was a friend of Digital Ronin before the planetization. His technical brilliance allowed him to create the firestaff, then known as the Admin Staff, for Deus Ex Incarnate's administration as a contingency against GameSpy. It was an inanimate object imbued with admin powers, the only such object, and a flamethrower.
After the planetization, Gwog claims Deus Diablo had a huge part to play in the construction of Forum City.
In Forum City Deus Diablo gained near heroic status by helping to ward off DXO attacks. When one such attack led to an election for moderators Deus Diablo was one of four nominees to fill three positions. When Trestkon turned down his nomination Deus Diablo and the two other nominees (veteran moderators Phasmatis and King Kashue) won by default.
Since that time Deus Diablo has been a feared and respected moderator, paroling Forum City with his flaming sword. Then he disappeared. Since banning requires consent of all three moderators the remaining moderators lost their ability to ban. His abduction also caused chaos simply because it threw doubt on the amount of control the administration actually had over Forum City.
Role in Game
Deus Diablo's abduction is the driving force throughout The Nameless Mod. Without it Trestkon wouldn't have returned to Forum City, PDX wouldn't have learned of GameSpy, and Scara would have had no way to locate GameSpy.
In the PlanetDeusEx storyline, rescuing Deus Diablo is one of the primary objectives of the final mission, though the game may still be completed if you fail.
In the WorldCorp storyline, Deus Diablo makes up the final boss fight as you are charged with assassinating him (but he can be avoided by skipping the objectives to find the schematics and cut out The Narcissus Entity going straight to powering the generators).
Locations
Deus Diablo is finally found on board the HTTP GameSpy in the final mission of the game. In the PlanetDeusEx mission, he will be found in his apartment on the third level of the station. In the WorldCorp mission, he will be waiting for you in the Artillery Power Generator room in the Engineering module on the fourth level.
Gameplay Notes
In spite of having no Energy Shield augmentation, Deus Diablo is completely invulnerable to fire damage, presumably as some special property of his avatar.
