I'm afraid the Dragon's Tooth sword is a very rare and quite a sought-after item. - Andreus
The Dragon's Tooth Sword is an iconic weapon from Deus Ex. Like all of the original DX weapons, the DTS is also available within The Nameless Mod.

Obtaining it
Unlike all of the other DX weapons, the player will not be able to purchase this weapon from Raving's Weapon Shop. A street vendor called Glottis who hangs out in the West Residence District has it on sale for 1500 credits. Alternatively, the player can kill or knock out certain boss enemies and find the DTS when they search their bodies. Enemies who carry the DTS:
- Treskton
- Dark Templar
- Athena
- Kylie (on the HTTP GameSpy)
- Ryan
Description
The true weapon of a modern warrior, the Dragon's Tooth is not a sword in the traditional sense, but a nanotechnologically constructed blade that is dynamically 'forged' on command into a non-eutactic solid. Nanoscale whetting devices insure that the blade is both unbreakable and lethally sharp. As much a status symbol as a weapon, Dragon's Tooth swords are notoriously hard to come by.
Usage
As it's name may suggest, the Dragon's Tooth Sword is a sword. Trying to use it at long range will not be productive. Therefore, get in close and hack away. Pretty much any organic enemy you hit with this that doesn't have Ballistic Protection will die in one or two hits, even if you don't have any training in low-tech weaponary. Also, the Dragon's Tooth is very effective in destroying locked doors, especially with Combat Strength. Only Digital Ronin's Katana is better at destroying doors without taking any ammo (like a LAM).
Trivia
The Nameless Mod uses a modified DTS from the DX original, although the changes made to it are purely aethestical; rather than making a hollow "ting" sound when hit against a wall or solid object, the DTS will now make a cool "CHUNG!" sound similar to a lightsaber when struck against such surfaces. Spawning the original Deus Ex DTS in The Nameless Mod will cause problems if you already have the new DTS in your inventory, so don't do it.
