The FireStaff was created by Deus Diablo and is notable for being the only inanimate object in existance to be bestowed with administrative powers. In game, the FireStaff is found in the remains of Deus Ex Incarnate and acts as a miniature flamethrower, presumably because Trestkon has no idea how to use it to ban people. Both PlanetDeusEx and WorldCorp wish to obtain the FireStaff; PDX want it in order to locate Deus Diablo, while Scara B. King wants it in order to locate GameSpy. Whichever side the player chooses to side with, they will have the option of using the FireStaff as a weapon once they're returned it to their employer.

Description
UNIQUE WEAPON:
This is the legendary Firestaff, which you retrieved from its protected container in the ancient moderator control room in the ruins of Deus Ex Incarnate, where it was actually enjoying itself quite a bit. What the heck were you thinking? Did you care to just ask the staff if it wanted to be removed? NO! Heartless bastard.
Usage
It's a flamethrower but with shorter range than the standard one. Setting people on fire is fun, and it takes half the slots an actual flamethrower would use, not to mention it profits from the rifle skill. However, its ammunition (Mana Potions) can be quite difficult to find around Forum City and it's also worth noting this weapon has no effect on the fullsized green aliens at HTTP GameSpy.
