It's supposedly a really powerful atomic weapon which can do some downright nasty things to a person at close range. -Evil Invasion
The Gibinator is an extremely powerful melee weapon, immediately gibbing anyone it is used upon. The only downsides are rare ammo and the requirement to be close to the enemy to make a hit.
Obtaining it
In the Leviathan's Hanger or the Docking Bay controlled by Aunt Betty Industries, go down a grate. Inside the tunnels below there is a lab containing this weapon.
Description
UNIQUE WEAPON:
Watch out where you point this! This weapon is a splendid example of the fact that most weapon developers in this world should be locked away. Far away. This baby can gib anyone in one touch - though it does require actual physical contact. Careful with it.
Usage
Considering its late arrival in the game and extreme sparseness of its ammo (you have to search hard to find 3 shots), this weapon isn't quite as awesome as it's promising to be. It's pretty much wasted on most late-game enemies due to other powerful weapons that have ranges longer than extreme close quarters, leaving its only real function as a one-hit kill weapon on the "boss" enemies (though getting within touching range of those guys is often a challenge in itself). This item also destroys alarms, cameras, and weak doors with a single shot. What it can destroy depends on your low tech level.
