Contents

Bare Fists (Untrained)

Bare Fists are what the player starts out with and require only the "Untrained" Fist skill level and are therefore usable without any skill upgrades. If hit from behind on the back bare fists are a non-lethal take-down. If the element of surprise is not on the side of the player though using Bare Fists is a sure way to get yourself killed. Fist upgrades can help remedy this situation.

Lethal Gloves (Trained)

These gloves are found in the WorldCorp HQ in the basement that doesn't exist.

As their name suggests, lethal gloves allow the player to take down enemies swiftly and fatally. Lethal Gloves have basically the same properties as the Combat Knife, meaning they are more effective against the head than Bare Fists. These gloves are suited to taking down animals.

EMP Gloves (Advanced)

These gloves are found in an apartment in the Slums District. Look up for a window near the Hospital.

EMP gloves emit a weak EMP charge with each punch, which can take down a small security bot with some serious effort. The EMP gloves do not affect cameras or turrets at the time of writing (version 1.0.2), but they're suitable for taking out military robots as you can remain behind them as they slowly pivot, attempting to aim their weapons at you. They are also quite good in taking care of unsuspecting firewalls, usually killing them in one hit. Downside is you cannot loot them, like Stun Gloves would allow.

Stun Gloves (Master)

These gloves are found in the security room of Raving's Weapon Shop.

In contrary to the bare fists, the stun gloves have a softer punch dealing less damage to the target. However, upon contact with the body of the victim, an electric shock is discharged with similar effects to the Riot Prod. The victim begins to jiggle for a short period of time and is not able to fight back, allowing you to use your targets as cheap punching bags. Stun gloves are a powerful asset for sneaky players as they can go through heavily armed areas without the need to carry any non-lethal weapons. The only downside is that animals, opponents in power armor, and the green GameSpy aliens do not suffer immobilization and will continue to attack the player while they're being punched.
