The Katana is an unused weapon in TNM. Instead, specialised unique versions of it can be found, namely the DaiKatana, Digital Ronin's Katana and Slicer's Katana. Before patch 1.0.3, it used the original description of the Golden Spork of Righteousness(R).
Obtaining it
You can not obtain this item without cheating. It appears in the list that can be accessed with the cheatcode Phasrox.
Description (version 1.0.3)
This is a katana, stable of modern action films and by now a bit of a cliche. And yes, it's yet another element that makes TNM look like a total Snow Crash ripoff. This particular version doesn't actually appear anywhere in the game though, so good job cheating, cheater.
Usage
Its damage equals that of a normal sword, while it takes up twice the inventory space. Therefore it is generally quite useless, but since you're cheating to get it anyway, you might as well have some fun with it!
