Pistol (skill)

The pistol weapon skill allows one to better utilize the Pistol weapons, like Alpha's Service Pistol, Trestkon's Pistols, the EMP Pistol or the Bamboo Blow Pipe.

The first level of this skill is already given at character creation. While in Deus Ex you could downgrade it, giving you 1575 additional skillpoints, it started out Trained regardless when you landed on Liberty Island, therefore this is no longer possible in TNM, only allowing you to spend 5000 points at character creation.

Skill Level Details

Untrained: Pistols do base damage, and have base accuracy. You can never have this skill at this level.

Trained: Pistols do 120% base damage, and their accuracy is increased by 5%. Reloading is slighty faster. Is given to the player during character creation.

Advanced: Pistols do 150% base damage, and their accuracy is increased by 12%. Reloading is even faster. Costs 3150 skill points.

Master: Pistols do 200% base damage, and their accuracy is increased by 25%. Reloading is very fast. Costs 5250 skill points.
