Canister details
Radar Transparency is one of the options from an Augmentation Canister, together with Cloak. There are five canisters containing these in the game.
It takes up one of the two Subdermal slots. Alternatives are Ballistic Protection, EMP Shield and Cloak.
Augmentation details
Assuming these values are the same as normal:
- Level 1: 300 Units/Minute energy drain
- Level 2: 225 Units/Minute
- Level 3: 165 Units/Minute
- Level 4: 120 Units/Minute
Usage and strategy
This aug makes you invisible to electronics, such as bots and automated cameras. Bots can still hear you. Running past a bot while transparent still alerts them, and shooting at a bot makes it attack you. However, you can still sneak past them without making any noise, so it does make sneaking past them a lot easier if you cannot sneak around them in another way. It has a very high energy drain so you have to keep an eye out on your bioelectric levels. Combined with Power Recirculator, the drain is decreased even more. Run Silent can help you run past them unseen and unheard, while Speed Enhancement allows you to sneak a lot faster unseen.
