The Riot Prod is the weapon of choice for stealth and pacifist players to take down their opponents at close range. Players who choose to go with the Fist skill will eventually be able to swap it out for the Stun Gloves, but otherwise you might keep it around the whole game. This item is especially handy during the DXE mission for Wolfy.
Obtaining it
Earliest available option: On lower item difficulties (1 and 2) you can find this item inside a locker in Phasmatis' Apartment, hidden inside a small cardboard box. On higher item difficulties your first Riot Prod can be found on the lower level of the Fan Fic Shop.
Description
The riot prod has been extensively used by security forces who wish to keep what remains of the crumbling peace and have found the prod to be an valuable tool. Its short range tetanizing effect is most effective when applied to the torso or when the subject is taken by surprise.
Usage
Sneak up on your opponents and then use it on their chest or waist for maximum effect. Most enemies caught unaware will go down with a single charge. If not, the character would still be in shock for a short duration, and can be safely taken down with another weapon or with more hits from the prod.
