Spiderbots come in two different sizes:

Small spiderbot

The small spiderbot is generally found patrolling narrow crawling vents. Their small size makes them difficult to hit, and their electrical attacks will - in addition to causing damage - drain your bio-electrical energy. There are 2 special small spiderbots in TNM, namely A2, a yellow spiderbot that can speak and has modified IFF systems and Gift for Jonas, a spiderbot found in DXI that has nothing special about it aside from the name.

Large spiderbot

The large spiderbot isn't found often, and due to its size, it can only be utilised in large areas. Because it does the same damage as the mini-spiderbot, yet is an easier target for EMP damage and moves a lot slower, the large spiderbot isn't much of a threat. The large variation only appears twice in TNM: in the Corporate Sewers just below the WorldCorp HQ, and in the tunnel to ABI.
