The Nameless Mod Launch Trailer is a trailer created for the release of TNM. It is 1 minute and 33 seconds long and shows a mixture of cinematic footage and in-game combat sequences. Unlike the other TNM trailers, the launch trailer contains no first-person footage.
Development
The footage was shot by Jonas Wæver and edited by Morten Clausen. The voice-over was recorded by Jeremiah Costello, the sound effects were edited by Alek "Grub" Burnes, and the soundtrack was composed by Leo Badinella. It took about a month to create and was released on March 7, 2009.
Trivia
In the bonus material for The Nameless Mod, some incomplete versions of the trailer can be found. The placeholder voice-over for these videos was recorded by Morten Clausen. In the fourth shot of the second version, the rain can be seen falling upwards due to a small oversight in editing.
