Talk:Despot's Apartment
From The Nameless Mod
I liked the other quote :( (hence why I added it) Hassat Hunter 20:24, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- I've got to double that one. It's a hilarious quote. Maybe leave the too of them or moving the Despot one to the proper Despot ( the actor :P ) page?--Dragonlord 21:12, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- Huh that's odd - I was certain it was already used for Despot's own page, that's why I replaced it actually. I do think Ghand's quote is more relevant though, so I've done as you suggested and put the drama quote on Despot's page :) --Jonas 23:13, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
The bug with the Narcissus playthrough in version 1.0.2 and older is that when Despot01_Played is true, the mission script gives you a WorldCorp goal and sets a flag for the WorldCorp storyline. This happens if you just talk to Despot once (not three times). It'll be fixed in 1.0.3. --Jonas 21:23, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- I cannot speak for the flag, but the goal is only added after talking him the third time. The first talk gives you 500XP, the second is just fluff, the third gives the goal. Never tried talking to Scara after a run and just one talk though to see if it had effect... But I could try easy enough (plenty of saves ;)) Hassat Hunter 12:58, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- The goal is irrelevant as far as the game logic is concerned, the flag causes the problems, and the flag was set after the first dialogue. --Jonas 14:46, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- What the hell? Why haven't I posted my test results yet?
- Anyway, loaded my save from before choosing a side, did Despot's Apartment. Talked to Despot ONCE! Excited and went to the WC HQ lvl 4. There I talked to Scara about SD etc. etc. After that he gave me his subsequents... NO mission to kill Phasmatis.
- So I returned to Despot and talked twice more, then went to Scara again. And only now did I get the conversation about Despot refusing, and the quest to off Phasmatis.
- So, what the hell??? Hassat Hunter 15:09, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- Well you're probably right then :P --Jonas 17:27, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
