Impressive "fuck you"?

Wow, strong choice of words there! I would actually call it a blessing, they withheld the weaksauce known as Invisible War from the rest of the world, letting America exclusively suffer the fail for a year or so before letting everyone else, duly warned, try if they dared. Japan gets a lot of games before us; most recently on my radar, they got two Professor Layton games on the DS on top of the first one, which we also got, and for us, the second one was just announced at E3. On the TV front, pretty sure BBC One will get the new Doctor Who ages before BBC America and/or Sci-Fi gets it. Ah, what am I saying. I don't like how stuff comes out at different times in different parts of the world, and with BitTorrent, it's very risky for them to keep doing it. Something comes out a week early in the UK? Well I could wait a week and buy it, or I could download it from some generous Briton (or Irishman, or Scotsman, or Welshman), a week early and not pay for it. Even if I were inclined to pay for it to start with, or if I really wanted to pay, I could order from Amazon.co.uk (or .co.jp) and just pay extra for air mail. That doesn't do the American economy any favors, and we need all the help we can get. It took our perhaps best president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, 15 years to recover from the Great Depression, and WWII helped a ton. Barack Obama sure has his work cut out for him. DarkRealityX 10:08, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
