The Goat Cult

The Goat Cult is one of the religious factions in Forum City and is in constant battle with it's rival religion of The Llama Cult, from whom they were spawned. Ostensibly, the Goat Cult came into birth when several Llamas were supposedly enlightened by a goat named Gerald, a manifestation of the great goat god 00n, who told them they were worshipping a false god in Lamar and also showed them the power of Melk(TM). The Goat Cult was formed as a religion based on his words, giving people the choice of joining or not. Before Gerald died, he used his powers to help create Goat City. In actuality, the Goat Cult was formed under the directive of The Initiated. While initially the two cults held a mild distaste for one another, their feud escalated into full scale war over which item was more useful; the spork or the f00n. By the time Trestkon returns to Forum City, the cults are in full scale war with one another and Goat City has moved into an entirely different domain from Forum City with the efforts of Dark Templar. Once the player has sided with either PlanetDeusEx or WorldCorp, they can also choose to side either with the Goats or the Llamas or spurn both cults if they so wish.
The Goats also have a strange and unexplained tendancy to incorrectly pronounce and misspell everyday words and trademark them.

Faction
History in Forum City
- 2001: Athena and Dark Templar break out of the Llama Cult and form the Goats with OiNutter in a secluded part of Forum City.
- 2002: The Llamas declare holy war on the Goats and attack them relentlessly.
- The Goats tear an entire apartment block out of Forum City and move it to a separate domain.
Presence in Forum City
Headquarters
The secret Goat City is hidden, and finding it is one of the main quests of the game. If the player has sided with the Llamas, everyone in Goat City will be hostile, otherwise they will be able to walk around freely unless they gave the fake plans for the Super Spork to Dark Templar. When he discovers the plans are fake, everyone within the city will turn hostile to the player, even if they have not sided with the Llamas.
To the west of the city is the door to the PDX Server Complex. To the east is the Goat Templae(TM), where you can listen to OiNutter and get quests if you joined the goats.
