Uranium is a quest item required to complete Yardbomb's scavenger hunt mission.
Uranium can be located in a condemned apartment reached by climbing the ladder of a scaffold near the subway in the West Residence District. The box containing it can be grabed through the lasers without tripping them.
When carried, the Uranium will produce a faint blue glow at all times, like the Dragon's Tooth sword. This is slightly bugged, however, and stays at map entrances if you change maps while carrying it, which can be fixed by equipping it, or dropping it and picking it back up.
